AIMS AND OBJECTIVE OF AFRICAN COLLEGE OF TRADITIONAL MEDICINE

African College of Traditional Medicine College: The establishment of this college is a long felt needed in Nigeria which was established 9 years ago. It is needless to say that the present system employed in the preparation and practice of the great art in Nigeria is absolute and an college wherein a modern method is taught and practiced is definitely necessary. To achieve these objectives African College of Traditional Medicine is established with the following aims in view:-

1. To separate the art and practice of occultism from Traditional medicine practice. To prevent the use of ungraded herbs, and ingredients with  unmeasured dosage.

To educate those desiring to be qualified in the art of Traditional medicine practice.

3. On a modern line and system, including its different branches, and to resist all attempts to establish a monopoly of traditional medicine practices to the detriment of sufferers.

4. To graduate ourselves in the college courses and by means of a main body to combat by every lawful and constitutional means to enhance the prestige of Traditional medicine and treatments.

5. To establish a traditional medicine education college with different departments and branches in Nigeria and African as a whole.

6. To establish a Traditional medicine, journal where in articles researches E.T.C of special interest will be published for the improvement and advancement of a traditional medicine. 

This course will be found to be the most convenient to those who wish not only to specialize for the trade, but also to those desiring to utilize the science for family and home treatment, or to those who may desire brief information concerning their properties for further developments and interest of our natives rites.
